We are committed to supporting talented and ambitious young people from wine-farm communities by providing bursaries that cover not just tuition, but the tools and mentorship needed to succeed. Our bursary is more than financial support — it’s a hand up, a chance to grow, and a pathway to meaningful opportunity.

What the HER Bursary Offers

The HER Wine Bursary supports qualifying students with funds to cover:

  • Tertiary tuition fees at accredited institutions
  • Study materials, textbooks and stationery
  • Equipment, including laptops for academic use
  • Mentorship and ongoing guidance from the HER team

We want our recipients not only to study — but to thrive.

Who Is Eligible

This bursary is open to students who:

  • Come from families working on vineyards supplying grapes to HER Wine Collection
  • Have completed matric or are currently enrolled at a tertiary institution
  • Demonstrate academic potential and financial need
  • Show passion, ambition and a commitment to growth
